FAQ

A cyst is an infection due to the presence of toxic bacteria in the root. Generally, the cyst grows painlessly for several years.

However, the infected pocket eventually generates pus that evacuates through a small button (fistula) causing swelling of the gum.

Granuloma and cyst can be caused by a shock, an untreated decay or even by a poor root canal.
